Vtg 1920s Mills Novelty Puritan Bell Trade Stimulator 5 Cent Slot Machine Parts

An antique Trade Stimulator slot machine made by Mills Novelty Company of Chicago in the 1920s! This is "The Puritan Bell", also referred to as "The Aluminum Bell". These were often placed in bars and stores during the prohibition era, since the stores would pay out the prizes from their till (the machines don't pay out), they were legal! Made to encourage customers to play games of luck. Aluminum body with red and yellow painted details. This machine has the number wheels rather than the standard fruit ones.

The prize card is still on it. We do not have a key for it, so there's still change inside. When the lever is pulled, nothing happens.

No glass covering number wheels and there's a metal bar in the window that moves when you push it but bounces back into place. MEASUREMENTS: Slot machine measures approximately 8 1/2" wide, 9" front-to-back, and 11 tall.
