On opening night in 1969 comedian Buddy Hacket appeared nude on stage! Now that thats the way to open a new joint! Bought it in 1974 and removed the castle theme completely and it became the Hyatt Tahoe Resort Hotel & Casino and just another corporate run resort hotel / casino on the lake.
