For sale here is a rare 3 Ball Seven Win Vintage Coin Operated Allwin Slot Machine by Bryan's. Produced in England, the game is in good working order. The cabinet is quite rare and looks wonderfully unique to the game, with a black and red Lava type display around all the sides.
With age the paint on has a few cracked and fading in the few places, however it is extremely appealing to the eye and has managed to still look pretty good for its age. Number 15 is written on the top. The machine originally operated on Old Penny (1d), Pays out Coins.
Main door has no lock. Cash Box door has a lock but no key. The cash box can still be opened without the key. Here is a quick description i found online.
A particularly interesting feature of these machines is the method by which Bryan fed the three balls in turn to the trigger mechanism. Instead of having a complicated feeding mechanism to release one ball at a time from the machine; Bryan released all the balls at the start of play, but arranged for them to fall below the level of the hammer. As the hammer is pulled back by the player, a simple'L' shaped lever lifts up each ball in turn and deposits it on a ledge at the firing position. A delightfully simple solution to avoid the need for a complex internal feeding mechanism, and a typical example of Bryan's ingenuity. Please see the photos for more details. The first photos are inside, the second set was taken outside to help show off the paint. Feel free to ask any questions.
I will need to inquire on the state beforehand.
