These Pace Chrome Bells slot machine were manufactured by the Pace Manufacturing Co. Of Chicago and were in operation at Harrah's Club from circa 1950 until they were phased out and replaced by electronic slot machines in the 1980's.
Due to their popularity and dependability, they were among the last of the mechanical slot machines used in Nevada casinos. This rare double quarter PACE version is extremely rare and hard to find. This is a opportunity to own a piece of Bill Harrah's 1950s PACE slot machine history. This machine has the original fruit reel strips and pay out display.
All the chrome has been redone and is in excellent condition. The mechanisms are all complete but the machine mechanisms are sticking and needs a good cleaning. We have plans to have our technician go through the mechanisms before the sale is complete.
There are two different jackpots types. One for each machine and a combination jackpot for both machines. He change button is not connected but can be wired to light the white change light.
The electrical cord is only for the lighting the light tower through a internal power supply (not included). The light tower (or candle) and coin meters on the top of the machine can be wired to work with mechanism. Best of luck to all and hope we can find this machine a good home.
