Rare Antique 1934 Daval Chicago Club-house 5-reel Poker Slot Machine + Gumball
Here is a Very RARE. Truly magnificent ALL original Antique 5-Reel 1934 Chicago Club-House Poker Slot Machine/Trade Stimulator in Very Good Clean Condition. These Machines were usually found in liquor stores, gas stations and bars. It is housed in a cast aluminum case with an intricate and beautiful Art Deco design on all four sides. Also has a Gumball Dispenser. It comes with what I believe are the original set of (2) duplicate keys that open the back door. All the cast aluminum and glass pieces have been cleaned and polished, inside and out. The slot portion of the machine works perfectly.
The machine will take pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters. Put your coin in the slot, pull the lever until the coin drops in the metal return box and the five wheels spin freely & easily. Your coin can now be fetched from return coin box. I have not been able to get the gumball portion of the machine to work.
I believe it needs a particular kind of spring. All the other parts seem to be there.
The display gumballs are new. I will also include 40 BRAND NEW gumballs. This 1934 machine is all original and has no cracks or visible damage. The paint is in very good condition. A small piece of one of the rubber feet broke off during cleaning (see pix).
