Original 1932 Mills Roman Head Slot Machine with Gold Award- needs T. L. C. NO RES

Roman Head is the most beautiful and highly coveted machine of the era. They just don't come up as often as War Eagles and the like, of that era. To get a Gold Award Roman Head machine is a treat. The Gold Award mechanism is complete.

I got this machine from a man who has had it in his attic for over 30 years. His father had rescued it from a club many years prior.

It is over 80 years old. This machine will make a fine restoration project, or just tune it up and replace the award card and reel strips, and keep as is. There was a side vendor at some time in it's life, and the side vendor LINKAGE is in the cashbox. Two of the machine's gold award reel strips have damage and will have to be replaced or spliced. The escalator jams, and the escalator window has frosted up due to age.

The backdoor is original with original inside sticker, but needs a lock. The machine plays sluggish, and really needs someone who likes to tinker. The mechanism appears complete, however. It has the double jackpot. (see pics) I took pics with and without flash.

The cabinet is very clean, no nicks or chunks missing from the base; VERY nice cabinet. The original label is still inside the cabinet. NO breaks, cracks, or damage in any way to the Castings or mech.
