Mills Rare 1934 Penny 20 Star Q. T. Antique Slot Machine, Nicely Restored Cond

All you antique slot machine collectors (and dealers). This is the more desirable 1 cent denomination slot that dates from 1934. This model is an authentic (not a reproduction) model known to collectors as a QT Model Slot Machine. These great antiques were very popular for both their quick, positive play and their diminutive size (18.75 inches tall x 13.75 inches deep x 13 inches wide).

Many models of Mills QT's were produced over approximately a 20 year period. This was one of the very first models produced in 1934 and is called the "FIREBIRD QT" by us collectors.

These QT's are not particularly hard to find; however what makes this particular beauty rare is that it is the "20 star" variety rather than the much more common "21 Star". In fact famed author and QT expert Robert Geddes felt that the "20 Star" varieties may have been the prototypes for the "21 Stars". He also acknowledged that models with less than the usual "21 Stars" are quite rare and seldom seen. What's also cool about this particular machine is that it was very nicely restored many years ago by John and Kenna Joseffy of Denver, Colorado. They were active collectors and dealers many years ago.

They did a very nice restoration back then, and this gem of a collectible is still in A+ Condition!! This all mechanical antique does everything by itself.

It displays American Ingenuity at its best!! It pays and plays perfectly. The double jackpots in front are self filling and alternate when the 3 bar jackpot hits, thereby insuring that a jackpot was always available for the gamblers.

It's a great, quick player that is sure to give you many years of trouble free play. These old antiques actually seem to thrive on regular home play!! Mills QT Slot Machines in particular are very popular due to their striking appearances, fun features, fabulous workmanship, and their full Slot Machine features. The reel tapes are bright and clean.

The outer castings have no cracks and/or breaks. The wooden cabinet shows a beautiful refinished wood grain. This restoration was done once again at the time by one of the top restoration artists for antique slot machines in the Western United States. It's over 80 years old, yet plays and pays like new!!!!

The lock and keys are old style locks and keys and fit very well. A QT cash box to hold your extra pennies is of course there too.

All in all a great antique that's been painstakingly restored!! I'm thinning down my collection, and I hate to let this beauty go, but it's time for someone else to enjoy it as much as I have. What a great addition to your bar or game room this fantastic collectible will make. It'll give its new owner many more years of enjoyable service!!
