Mills 10-cent BURSTIN' CHERRY antique slot machine, 1941. One of THE LAST Mills Burstin' Cherries ever made. Found recently in the attic of an old French Quarter building. Mechanism shows hardly any wear, probably because of the large Italian population in the French Quarter, who happened to be very superstitious regarding the spending of dimes. In fact, the oldest dime found in the machine was dated 1942. Original Mills lock & key. Original FULL set of anti-cheat drill plates, including back bonnet. Original cash box with flap door.
