Circa 1907- CAILLE JUMBO SUCCESS COUNTER MODEL poker machine-on swivel base

In the early Caille Brothers CATALOGS(circa 1907), the counter model JUMBO SUCCESS poker machine appears with the other early poker machines. Maybe not many were made as this is the only one known to survive----maybe it was too big and heavy for the bar counter tops of the day, or replaced with the smaller wooden poker varieties. It is truly a CAILLE machine in every sense --ornate castings, the original award card, the original reel poker strips including the CAILLE LOGO on the ace of spades- and of course, the famous CAILLE marble like finish on the cast iron castings.

The base is an early CAST IRON BASE (unknown origin) with an original Caille marble finish wood top(most likely from another Caille base). A specialty artist has re-done the marble finish on the castings and it matches perfectly to the original CAILLE finish --including fading and aging. The lock is the original CAILLE with the CAILLE logo embossed on back--also the key is an original Caille.
