There are less than 100 (5-10-25 cent) Bally Reliance Dice machines known to exist today. This is a 25 cent american version and less then 30 machines are known to exist today. This machine is more rare then a Buckley Bones Dice machine.
The Bally Reliance Dice machine were actually made by the Buckley Bones company. This machine has been fully restored by one of the finest restorers in the industry who specializes in the complete restoration of the Bally Reliance Dice machine and the Buckley Bones Dice machine.
This machine has the original tokens, cash drawer, door, lock and key, along with all its original cadmium finish on the internal parts. It plays and functions like a new machine and pays all the correct amounts. Just the fact that it has the original tokens is amazing in itself as all but a few machines have reproduction tokens. I was very fortunate to get this machine along with a Buckley Bones original 5 cent machine from the personal collection of Johnny Duckworth of Kansas City. The Bally Reliance Dice machine actually plays the game of craps. After depositing 25 cents the shooter pulls the handle. The dice appear to shake and are tossed out of the left window if the roll is a 7 or 11 the shooter is a winner and if a 2, 3 or 12 come up the player is a looser. Any other number that is rolled is called the point.
The shooter then pulls the handle again and this time the dice come out the right window. The shooter continues pulling the handle until the point is made or a 7 is rolled and then the shooter craps out. The Bally Reliance Crap machine was only made between 1935 and 1937 and to have one with its original tokens is extremely rare.
