I was very fortunate to get this machine along with a Buckley Bones original 5 cent machine from the personal collection of Johnny Duckworth of Kansas City. The Bally Reliance Dice machine actually plays the game of craps. After depositing 25 cents the shooter pulls the handle.
The dice appear to shake and are tossed out of the left window if the roll is a 7 or 11 the shooter is a winner and if a 2, 3 or 12 come up the player is a looser. Any other number that is rolled is called the point. The shooter then pulls the handle again and this time the dice come out the right window. The shooter continues pulling the handle until the point is made or a 7 is rolled and then the shooter craps out. The Bally Reliance Crap machine was only made between 1935 and 1937 and to have one with its original tokens is extremely rare.If you are a serious collector, you would be hard pressed to fine a machine this nice.
