Here is an Antique Mills 10 Cent Double Wide Golden Gate Casino Slot Machine on Stand with the Golden Falls Theme. If you are looking for a unique machine, check this one out. A standard golden falls front (or similar machine).
Along with the custom casino stand. Note: the back doors are even Original Mills Doors. During the late 40's several of the casinos in Las Vegas had Double wide machines manufactured with one arm. It had no arm, (therefore; it was not considered a slot machine). Needless to say, the gaming commission won out and they were either taxed as two machines or removed.
It was another one of those things, when you see it, you just could not leave it behind. It had the ugliest, god forsaken brown veneer covering the custom built stand.
We had the brown removed and redone in a black satin. As far as the reel mechs and the inside of the machine, it needs a complete cleaning and service. We are not slot machine mechanics. After depositing a dime in each machine the handle pulls, the reels all turn slowly and sluggishly. You see them for sale one in a while but not all casinos had them and the ones that did only had a few. As always, it is our policy. We are not a collector of these antique slot machines.
We considered them as an investment and props around our showroom. They have been in our possession for 30 years. They have NOT been on the circuit, like Chicago show and other coin op shows. We are NOT one of the West Coast retail stores. These machines were either on display in our warehouse or in our home. To be honest we have no interest in the slot machines anymore. It is time to retire and we would like to sell these machines off within the next 12/14 months, or so. From members residing in any of these states will be cancelled.
