1941 O. D. Jennings Bronze Chief Nickel Antique Slot Machine Original & Tuned

This is an original 5c machine and everything works just as it should, payouts, jackpot, etc. The machine retains its original finish on the castings, back door and oak cabinet. The original acid etched award plate in present and all the glass looks great. The original chrome on the aluminum castings is also very nice.

The Jennings decals are still present on the cabinet. Internally the original Jennings inspection tag is present confirming this machine started life as a 5c Bronze Chief.

We have went though the mechanism and given it a general lubrication and tuning. The original paper reel strips are intact and in very nice condition with lots of color to the images. Machine plays nice and smooth, easy handle pull. All the hardware inside the cabinet is present including the original cash box. The back door has the factory correct brown textured paint with a replacement lock.

The Bronze Chief was part of the "Feature Chief's" line-up from the late 1930's into the early 1940's. The Bronze Chief was actually the last model to be made before all production of slot machines stopped due to World War 2.

After the war the Bronze Chief was made for a short period of time. The pre-war machines say Bronze Chief on the top, post war say "The Bronze Chief".
