The converter appears to be in good condition, even though it has been sitting for many years. I hooked up an AC line to it, and it started immediately and ran very well but I have not checked the DC output. The metal tag attached to the side says Mills Converter, invented by H.
The number K1315 is stamped at the top of the tag. The specs are 60 cycles, 2 amp, 110 volts. The bottom of the tag says manufactured by Mills Novelty Company, Chicago Illinois. The converter measures 14" long by 9 1/2" high, and 9 wide. It is very heavy, as it weighs 68 pounds.
