Vintage 1970s Jennings Chief 5-cent slot machine made by Jennings & Company in Chicago. This slot machine was used in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Lights up beautifully as shown in the pics, especially in dark settings.
Great conversation piece and would look wonderful in a bar or man cave. Slot machine lights up beautifully, but needs some internal repair since coins entered don't activate components for using pull handle. Control panel battery shown in the pic is dead and needs replacement...Which might be the only thing keeping slot machine from being fully functional. Don't know for sure. Very good externally as shown. Windows are all intact with no breaks. Chrome pieces have some very light corrosion in places, as well as some scuffs and scratches mainly in the area of coin slot, but still displays very well overall. Red plastic attendant call light on top is fine. Front door of slot machine hinges open easily as shown. However, the original key lock mechanism for opening front is missing, so door latch is activated by pull string as shown. See pics for more details.
Measures about 26" high, 16" wide (not including pull handle) and 19.75 deep.
