Bally Reel Dice 1-6 Nickel Coin Operated Lighted Slot Machine FULLY WORKING

Bally Reel Dice 1-6 Nickel Coin Operated Lighted Slot Machine. Make sure you check out my other auctions! This is a fully working nickel slot machine with a VERY UNIQUE twist on winning combinations! It combines the rules of the dice game craps with a typical slot machine.

The first reel of the slot indicates the type of craps bet, Hard Way, Craps, Seven, or Field. Then once that is established, the remaining two reels determine the winning combination based on the dice graphic that is shown. For example, under Hard Way, there are six winning combinations, each for a pair of dice with the same number, 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, etc. If one of those combinations comes up on the last two reels, you win, with the amount determined by which winning combination you made and how may coins you played.

You can play from one to six coins, with payouts going up for each additional coin you play. If the first reel falls on Craps, there are four winning combinations for the following two reels, with Craps rolls being the winners, 1-1, 1-2, 2-1, and 6-6.

If Seven comes up first, there are six winning combinations, each of which must result in the two dice (last two reels) equally seven. With Field, field numbers on the craps table pay off, with 2 and 12 paying 1.5x the others. It may sound confusing, but it doesnt take long to understand once you start to play! If you have knowledge of Craps, you will easily know what combinations of dice you are looking for on the last two reels.

This is a FUN machine to play with obviously a VERY unique twist! It was manufactured by Bally Manufacturing Corporation, Chicago, USA. As mentioned, you can play one, two, three, four, five or six coins (by actually inserting nickels into the coin entry slot) and payouts are made according to the listings on the top glass.

Payouts vary from two to 2000 coins! Although the instruction glass to the left of the reels indicates that only 200 coins will be paid by the machine with the balance paid by the attendant you, in this case! When you win, your winnings, in the form of nickels, are dropped into the metal bin at the bottom.

So make sure you fill the hopper with nickels before you start to play! To spin the reels, you pull the handle on the right side of the machine.

The slot machine itself measures 43-3/8 tall, 20-3/8 wide to the outside of the handle, and 19 deep. It is also pretty heavy since it is an actual industrial slot machine! It is in pretty nice shape with only some minor scratches and nicks/chips in the cabinet, but nothing major. It is currently sitting on an original wooden framed base that has a locking from door for inside access. Im guessing this was originally used to store things while this machine was in a casino, but it only serves as a stand, now. The base measures 24 wide, 22 tall, and 18.25 deep. On the slot, all three front glasses appear to be silkscreened paint on plate glass ad all are in excellent shape with barely an imperfection and bright colors and graphics with no sign of any fading. All glasses include fantastic graphics of dice that REALLY add to the theme of the machine. The worst imperfection is a small scratch in the paint in the far bottom edge of the bottom glass, with a couple other pin-prick sized chips towards the bottom right of this same glass.

Neither of these spots are horrible, but you can see them with backlighting from behind them. Also VERY easy to touchup on the backside to make them disappear! The key for the slot machine cabinet lock is also included with the machine. Even though you may see some nickels in the bin inside to allow the payoffs to be made, those will NOT be included with the machine! You will need to supply your own nickels!

This FULLY WORKING slot machine is in real nice shape and displays very well. And in addition to all that, it is FUN to play with GREAT and UNIQUE playing features. If you are a fan of both slot machines and the craps table, you cant do much better than this machine! It will make a great addition to any game room or collection and will give you a LOT of enjoyment! It doesnt get any easier or better than that!
